Benjamin Jackson Burnley (born March 10, 1978 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, raised in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania) is the vocalist and guitarist for the band Breaking Benjamin.
Ben and Jeremy Hummel (now former Breaking Benjamin drummer, current drummer is Chad) were in bands together since high school.
Ben is currently on tour with Breaking Benjamin after the release of their new album Phobia which debuted at number two on the Billboard 100 Charts.

The second single off of the album has yet to be relased, though frontman Ben Burnley indicated on RockLine that Phobia was written so that all the songs could stand as singles, each having an equal oppurtunity to be next.
Burnley was covering a Nirvana song during an open-mic night at a club when he dropped the mic to the ground, breaking it.
Burnley says that he taught himself the guitar by listening to Nirvana's Nevermind.
