Benjamin Kowalewicz (Born December 16, 1974) is the lead singer in the group Billy Talent. Originally from Mississauga, the post-punk singer now lives in downtown Toronto. He attended Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Secondary School where in a talent show he met his future bandmates. He is of Polish ancestry and his natural hair color is brown and his eyes are green. Kowalewicz and fellow Billy Talent member Ian D'Sa wrote the song "Nothing To Lose" after Kowalewicz had read in a news paper artical that a student was being bullied and then killed him self (over bad acne); the song became a smash hit across Canada and Europe.
