Ben Rose started as a photographer when he was a young man. He was graduated from the Pennsylvania Museum and School of Industrial Art in 1938 and where he taught Photography and Advertising Photography from 1945–1950.[1] His first show at the A-D Galley was in 1941 with Arnold Newman with whom he had grown up in Atlantic City.[2] He has been noted for his contribution of high technology and electronics to photography by designer Louis Dorfman.[3] The University of the Arts (UArts) is the nation’s first and only university dedicated to the visual, performing and communication arts. ...
