Ben Slimane is the name of both a province and a town in Morocco. The province had a population of around 199,612 people in 2004 and covers an area of around 2,760 km². The town, previously known as Boulhaut, is the capital of the province, and is between the cities of Casablanca and Rabat. Morocco is divided into 37 provinces and 2 wilayas*: Three additional provinces of Ad Dakhla (Oued Eddahab), Boujdour, and Es Smara as well as parts of Tan-Tan and Laayoune fall within Moroccan-claimed Western Sahara. ...
