Benadir-Watch seeks the recognition of the original boundaries of the Benadir in accordance with the legitimate claim and historic desire of the Benadiri people to remain under one regional indigenous administration.
It aims to bring together all those who are committed to defending the universal principles of human rights, including the political, social, and economic rights of the indigenous people of the Benadir.
- To promote the human rights of the indigenous people of the Benadir, and disseminate information on the existing international human rights laws that would be of help to the indigenous people, internally displaced communities, and refugees, as well as political prisoners and their families.
