Early life
She was born on 25 July 1973 in Switzerland. After graduating from Erenköy Kız Lisesi, a high school in Erenköy, Istanbul, she went to a university in Switzerland for two years. For some time, she played football for İstanbul Dostlukspor in the Turkish women's football league.
