Beni Hassan is a Bedouin group, one of several Yemeni tribes who emigrated to northwest Africa and present-day Western Sahara in the Middle Ages. It is also the name of the largest tribe in Jordan. The wall paintings here are most interesting in the respect that they show everyday scenes from the Middle Kingdom, with harvests of wine grapes and papyrus, as well as pleasures of music and dancing.
There is nothing of hotels and restaurants in Beni Hassan, these things are best done in Minya.
