Bennebroek (population: 5,225 in 2004) is a town in the north-western Netherlands, in the province of North Holland. The municipality covers an area of 1.79 kmē (of which 0.04 kmē water), making it the smallest municipality in the Netherlands.

Anders kan het grote appartementengebouw een precedent scheppen in dit kwetsbare groene gedeelte van Bennebroek.
Onduidelijk is of er voor Bennebroek een andere concrete opdracht is. Uit de notitie blijkt dat het binnen de voorwaarden vrijwel ondoenlijk is grote hoeveelheden woningen in de regio te bouwen.
