Bennettsbridge (Droichead BennaĆ­d in Irish) is a village in County Kilkenny, Republic of Ireland, 6km south of Kilkenny city in the southeast of Ireland. Located along the River Nore, the village is known as the home of several pottery and crafts producers. The village is located at a ford of the river, where a bridge, mill and weir have been constructed. The current bridge was constructed in the 18th century, however it is known that there has been a bridge at the site since the 13th century.
