Benny Valger (nicknamed "The French Flash") was an American professional lightweight boxer in the 1920's and 1930's. He was born in Paris, France, and was of Russian-Jewish descent. He was known for his great speed in the ring (hence the nickname "French Flash"). His professional record was 77 wins and only 15 losses. Three of his matches were draws [[1]]. In his junior career, he won the US amateur bantamweight championship in 1916.
