In the county the population is spread out with 28.20% under the age of 18, 7.60% from 18 to 24, 32.60% from 25 to 44, 23.30% from 45 to 64, and 8.20% who are 65 years of age or older.

HORACE PLUMB, retired farmer; P. Berkshire ; is a son of Ichabod and Catharine (Hinsdale) Plumb; his father was born in Connecticut, and was a member of the Scioto Company; came to Ohio in 1807, settling in BerkshireTownship, then a wilderness ; he was a wagon-maker and farmer and died in 1847.
