The so-called Berlin Trilogy is a series of David Bowie albums recorded in collaboration with Brian Eno. The three albums are Low, "Heroes" and Lodger. These albums are called the Berlin Trilogy because they were influenced by the German Krautrock electronic music of the time, and all were at least partly recorded in Berlin. The moniker "Berlin Trilogy" is debated, as only "Heroes" was fully recorded in Berlin. The albums are all experimental and among the mostly highly regarded in the Bowie catalogue due to their innovation. Among the styles influenced by these albums would include New Wave, post-punk and industrial.
