One of Brixner's best known photographs of the Trinity test.
Berlyn Brixner is best known as being the head photographer for the Trinity test, the first detonation of a nuclear weapon in July 1945. Brixner himself was stationed 10,000 yards away from the explosion itself, but had dozens of cameras running from different locations to capture the shot.
