BERNAMA or Malaysian National News Agency is an authorized body set up by an Act of Parliment in 1967 and started work in May 1968. BERNAMA has branches in every state in Malaysia. It also has correspondents in Jakarta and Singapore. It also has stringers in Washington D.C., Dhaka, New Delhi, Manila, London, London and Vancouver. Most of the newspapers in Malaysia, electronic media and other International news agencies subscribe to BERNAMA.
