Bernard John Ebbers, also known as Bernie Ebbers, (born August 27, 1941) is a Canadian-born business man. He co-founded telecom company WorldCom and is a former CEO of the company.

Ebbers was charged by the State of Oklahoma that he violated the state's securities laws by defrauding investors, among other things. Federal authorities have also charged him. [1] (http://www.fbi.gov/dojpressrel/pressrel04/world030204.htm).
