Monroy is considered by some to be one of the pioneers of digital art. Much of his work is photorealistic. He has published several books on the use of Photoshop, and is also an accomplished lecturer. He was a frequent guest on The Screen Savers, where he gave brief Photoshop tutorials. Bert is a featured speaker at many world-wide conferences and is part of the Photoshop Dream Team of Photoshop World.
Bert is the author and co-author of several books, some of them are Photoshop Studio with BertMonroy, BertMonroy: Photorealistic Techniques with Photoshop and Illustrator and Commercial Photoshop with BertMonroy.
Bert is a fellow Mac user, although I would've like to hear what other equipment he has.
BertMonroy is recognized as one of the true masters of digital graphics -- and an acknowledged master of Photoshop.
BertMonroy was not only one of the first Photoshop users, but he's a great a teacher as well.
