Trivia - Beth was 3rd in the Spanish version of Fame Academy, Operación Triunfo. First was Ainhoa and second was Manuel Carrasco
- While at the casting for Operación Triunfo, she told reporters for TVE that she would love to win the show, but she'd rather die than enter Eurovision.
- Beth's video for 'Vuelvo a Ti' gained controversy in Spain as she was filmed smoking a cigarette various times during the video. When it was aired on Spanish television, a picture of a spinning vinyl was replaced with these images. Also, she is seen smoking on her new video for Rain On Me, although this hasn't been replaced as she doesn't inhale.
- Beth's connection to Britain is huge:
- Before Operación Triunfo, she spent 2 years in London.
- Her new album is fully in English, and has been released in England, 2 months before its Spanish release.
- Beth reported for BBC's Newsround in 2003 covering the hype for the Operación Triunfo final.
