Recently, Bethel purchased land adjacent to the south end of the campus for future building endeavors. As of the Summer of 2006, Bethel is currently building an expansion to its Science Building to offer more classrooms and labs. Bethel is also expanding its exercise room area, as well as the Food Services department.
Athletics Bethel competes in the Mid-Central Conference of National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Division 1 (basketball division 2) as well as the National Christian College Athletic Association. Bethel's athletic teams have won 20 National Championships since 1990. Almost every major sport has won a championship. Bethel has also won national cheerleading and dodgeball championships.
