Bewsey and Whitecross is a ward to the west of the town centre of Warrington, England. It is one of the most deprived areas of the town according to a recent survey.[citation needed] It is within close proximity to the General Hospital. It is served by the 16/16A bus route from Dallam to Warrington[1]. In terms of other facilities the Sankey Valley Park runs through Bewsey, and there is a piece of parkland known as Bewsey Park in the centre. Bewsey was born in London in 1927 and served with the Royal Air Force in Malaysia and India from 1945-48.
Their son, Oliver Bewsey of Anderson Township, now operates the business with many of the same staff who worked with his father.
Bewsey was a sailor and amateur pilot who enjoyed woodworking, reading and working crossword puzzles.
