The truce between the government and the RSS-affiliated organisation seems to have conclusively ended with three important constituents of the Sangh Parivar - the BharatiyaMazdoorSangh, the Bharatiya Kisan Sangh and the Swadeshi Jagran Manch - coming together to attack the Centre's economic policies after a gap of two years.
What is significant is the Swadeshi Jagran Manch's criticism of the government is being supported by the BharatiyaMazdoorSangh, the trade union wing of the RSS, and the Bharatiya Kisan Sangh, a Sangh-affiliate for farmers.
Bharatiya Kisan Sangh president Kunwarji Bhai Jadhav said Vajpayee had been following in the footsteps of P V Narasimha Rao.
