Bhuvaneshvari is a Hindu goddess. According to some Hindu traditions, Bhuvaneshvari, who is known for her beauty, co-operates with Shiva in bringing forth from the formless primal light the elements of the physical cosmos, in giving shape to the inchoate; hence her epithet Creator (or Co-creatrix) of the World.
Bhuvaneshvari thus remains un-manifest until the world is created.
Hence she is primarily related with the visible and material aspect of the created world.
This is made amply clear in the belief that the physical world, the rhythms of creation, maintenance and destruction, even the hankerings and sufferings of the human condition is nothing but Bhuvaneshvari's play, her exhilarating, joyous sport.
Bhuvaneshvari is the essential oneness of spirit and form, and those who meditate on Her should quest to dissolve distinctions between matter and consciousness, world and otherworld, and recognize Her as the Queen of Perception.
Bhuvaneshvari is the living, thinking, imagining, breathing, eating, talking, moving, omnifarious totality of all existence.
HRIM is also known as the Heart Mantra, for it is the energy of the Goddess' heart pervading the cosmos and vibrating in the heart of all beings, as we are all ultimately vibrations occurring within Her own heart.
