Concept
Fourteen (originally twelve) celebrities, along with a hidden spy (later revealed to be Ragini Shetty), are placed inside the Big Boss house for 12 weeks with only a suitcase of luggage and no access to domestic help or stylists. The contestants have to cook and clean by themselves, and are given tasks by the Big Boss each week. The contestants are also allowed to place "gambles" upon their tasks, gaining money to order supplies if they win and losing money if they fail. Every week, each contestant is taken into the Confession Room and asked to nominate two contestants along with their reasons for nomination. The nation then votes to evict a contestant.
Main events Deepak Tijori replaces Salil Ankola Salil Ankola was ordered by the Mumbai High Court on Thursday November 9, 2006 to leave the house or face criminal charges in accordance with the agreement he had signed in June to refrain from participating or acting in television shows made by other production houses that “directly or indirectly compete with Balaji Telefilms”. On 10 November, Big Boss ordered him to leave the house, after a direct court order had been received by Endemol India. By the time this was announced to him, he suggested that the contract that he had signed with Balaji Telefilms was possibly illegal. is the 313th day of the year (314th in leap years) in the Gregorian calendar. ...
