Plot

School is out, and everyone's headed for the beach! All is well until a millionaire (Wynn) comes around, convinced that the beach-goers are nothing but senseless kids obsessed with sex, when all they really want to do is to have fun. With his car-driving, watusi-dancing, surfing pet monkey, he plans to turn Bikini Beach into a senior citizens' retirement home. Meanwhile, a British Beatle-wannabe, "Potatobug" (played by Frankie Avalon in a dual role) comes along and starts falling in love with Dee Dee (Funicello), of course, setting Frankie (Avalon) into a jealous rage. In the end, both guys end up competing in a drag race.
