Since 1936, Mawtini ("My homeland") Arabic:موطني was unofficially the anthem used by palestinians, it was written by Ibrahim Towqan and composed by the Lebanese composer mohammad flaifel. In addition there is the Fiday'e anthim, which was used since 1972, Fateh used it while converting its institutes names from fateh-specific names into generic Palestinian names, and it replaced its Al-Asifa ("The Storm") of fateh. Fiday'e was composed by the egyption musicain Ali Ismaeil and written by Said Al-Muzayyen, and it was known as the "Anthem of the Palestinian revolution".
