William Thomas Maas (born March 2, 1962 in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania), is a former American Football defensive tackle who played for the Kansas City Chiefs (1984-1992), and the Green Bay Packers (1993). Maas was selected to the Pro Bowl in 1986 and 1987. In 1984 Maas was named The NFL Rookie of the Year by the Associated Press. He now works as a commentator for Fox Sports. Maas was arrested on July 6, 2007, in East Peoria, Ill. after police found a .22 caliber handgun, suspected Cocaine, Ecstasy and Marijuana in his Hummer during a roadside safety check.
