The Bilsdale transmitting station is a broadcasting and telecommunications facility, located at Bilsdale West Moor, close to Helmsley, North Yorkshire — UK grid reference SE553962. It includes a 290 metre high (950 ft) guyed steel tubular mast that is used for FM- and TV-transmission. It is one of the most powerful in the UK at 500 kW erp and due to the site's elevated position it has the highest (TV) transmitter array in Great Britain. Bilsdale carries the TV signal and national radio frequencies for the Tees Valley region, as well as Radio Cleveland on 95FM.
