The Bing Crosby Breeders' Cup Handicap is a race for thoroughbred horses. It is held each summer at Del Mar Thoroughbred Club. The Grade 1 race is a top race for horses at the six furlong distance. The Bing Crosby is for three-year-olds and up and carries a purse of $250,000. The Thoroughbred is a horse breed developed in 18th century England when English mares were bred with imported Arabian stallions to create a distance racer. ...
