The idea is born to present amateur artists, such as painters or sculptors, and the give them the possibility to exhibit their artwork at a larger scope.
Thanks to the consent of the municipality Binningen to Arte for a continued use of the “Saal”, Arte is able to prolong the length of the exhibition to two weeks on their 5th Birthday.
Binningen becomes the Mecca of Art Lovers on October 23rd and the exhibition consists of pieces from over 70 artists from around the globe.
From 1991, he is a member of the board of the cantonal bank of Basel-Land (Basellandschaftliche Kantonalbank).
He was a member of the cantonal parliament of Basel-Land (1981-1987 and 1994-1999, president 1998/1999), of the city parliament of Binningen (1988-1995), and of the executive of Bubendorf (1976-1979).
Today, he is a citizen of Basel and Binningen, as well as Polish national.
