Bipolar Disorder NOS (Not Otherwise Specified) is a diagnostic form of bipolar disorder defined by the DSM-IV-TR. This category is designed to allow for diagnosis of a bipolar disorder that does not necessarily meet the diagnostic criteria for any of the three other form of bipolar disorder.
