The Trust also provides Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) for the city.
As the Birmingham and Midland Free hospital it opened in Steelhouse Lane in 1862. It moved to a new site in Ladywood Road in 1917. In 1998 the hospital returned to its original site in Steelhouse Lane.
