Bizone ist die Bezeichnung für den Teil Deutschlands, der nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg der US-amerikanischen und der britischen Besatzungsmacht unterstellt war.
Damit wurde einerseits der Grundstein zu einer neuen staatlichen und wirtschaftlichen Entwicklung gelegt, der mit der Währungsreform 1948 zementiert wurde, andererseits wurden aber auch die Weichen für die endgültige Teilung des Landes in BRD und DDR gestellt.
Zur Bizone gehörten die späteren Bundesländer Schleswig-Holstein, Hamburg, Niedersachsen, Bremen, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Hessen und Bayern, sowie das nördliche Baden-Württemberg (nicht aber Württemberg-Hohenzollern und Baden, Rheinland-Pfalz, das Saarland und Westberlin).
