Arch Enemy.
ArchEnemy is a Swedish death metal band, formed in 1995.
ArchEnemy was originally assembled when the band Carcass ended, and guitarist Michael Amott (ex-Carcass and Carnage) and vocalist and bassist Johan Liiva (ex-Carnage) joined guitarist Christopher Amott and drummer Daniel Erlandsson in order to play together once more.
In 1998 ArchEnemy released Stigmata, which counted with the addition of bassist Martin Bengtsson, who was added so that Liiva could concentrate fully on the vocals.
ARCHENEMY is perhaps the finest example of a pure metal band, one that possesses sheer aggression, technical wit and a catchy songwriting approach.
With "Wages Of Sin" ARCHENEMY is out for world domination with an improved line-up consisting of Michael Amott and his brother Christopher on guitars, Angela Gossow on vocals, drummer Daniel Erlandsson and bassist Sharlee D'Angelo.
ARCHENEMY's third studio album "Burning Bridges" was yet another example of the band's unstoppable musical talent and vision.
