Some have color graphic capabilities, usually involving a multicolored ribbon that lays down each of 3 or 4 colors with repeated passes of the printhead.
All such colors are removed from the image by changing their palette settings to match the background color (white 7,7,7).
One approach is to use a regular fl and white printout of your master drawing colored with any traditional media, such as markers or colored pencils.
