A sequel, Black and White 2, was released on 7 October 2005.
Lionhead is also planning to release Black and White Creatures for the PSP and Nintendo DS, while plans for developing Black and White: Next Generation for the PlayStation 2, Xbox and GameCube have since been abandoned.
