The band orginality had the members James Morrell, Andy Hughes, Brendan Clarke and Jeffery Lindsey, but after many disagreements and unabilities to practice togethor, Brendan Clarke left shortly followed by the break of Jeffery Lindsey. James and Andy continued the band, hiring Luke Satchwell a drummer from James' previous band, and William Alexander a bassist. After failing to get the new lineup sorted in time for the demo disk deadline, the band was put on the waiting list for the gig. So Andy and James decided to hire manager Thom Hodkinson to arrange gigs for the future,

History of the Name

The name orginated during an converence between James Morrell and Brendan Clarke, ideas of such a name that would stand out, be simple yet none comic. Using past bands as inspiration, eg pink floyd, soundgarden, the name of Black Sun was created. The name symbolised the Sun becoming black and then it dying within the earth. Brendan liked the idea yet James believed it too dark and almost gothic, which wasnt the bands intention. After much debate, the idea of DarkLight was formed then converted to BlackLight.

This Represented an impossible light as black is no colour, and absorbs all light, bringing uncertainty and meaning to the band.

Blacklight paint or fllight-reactive paint is paint that glows under a fllight (a source of light whose wavelengths are primarily in the ultraviolet range).
Blacklight paints are sometimes used in the scenery of amusement park dark rides.
A fllight illuminates the vivid colors of the scenery, while the vehicle and other passengers remain dimly lit or barely visible.
Applications of Hydrinos and The BlackLight Process (1957 words)
In BlackLight's patented process, energy is released as the electrons of atomic hydrogen are induced to undergo transitions to lower energy levels producing plasma, light, and novel hydrogen compounds.
On larger-scales, BlackLight technology is well-suited for and could eliminate problems attendant to the utility industries, such as those arising from the variable regional supply and price of fuels such as natural gas, the associated cost of building out a suitable supporting infrastructure and transmission grid, and eliminate pollution, green-house-gas emission and other externalities.
The opportunity may exist with BlackLight Technology to replace a FEL that occupies the size of a large building with a table-top laser comprising a laser tube containing dihydrino gas that is excited by an electron beam such as that in a television.
