The album was certified gold in Canada (more than 50,000 copies sold) and reached top ten in many European countries.


It peaked at number 75 on billboard top 200 albums.


"Real wild child" reached number 27 on Mainstream rock tracks and became Iggy's first top ten hit in the UK. Song was used on soundtrack for 1989 blockbuster "Pretty woman" starring Julia Roberts and Richard Gere.


Other singles and videos from the album includes "Shades", "Cry for love" and "Isolation". "Cry for love" charted 19 on Hot dance music chart and 34 on Mainstream rock tracks.


Blah Blah Blah became Iggy's most commercial album to date. Album appeared after 4 years of hiatus with David Bowie as producer. Followed with few hits, the Blah Blah Blah tour was a big success and Iggy was back in form after few years.
