Blauw-Wit was founed in 1902, as a local club in the Kinkerbuurt. From 1928 it started to play its home matches in the Olympic Stadium in Amsterdam. The club entered professional football in Holland in 1954. In 1972 the club fused with De Volewijckers and DWS to form FC Amsterdam. Blauw-Wit continued as an amateur club, that still exist today.
