In 2001 it burned to the ground, and while no one was hurt, over 500 children were left without a proper building in which to study. It has recently been rebuilt from the ground up. Construction took a few years, during which time the school set up a temporary location made up of portable classrooms. The new school is very modern in design with a large open foyer area and an impressive chapel.
