Blinky, nicknamed "Shadow", is the red ghost in a 1980 arcade game created by Namco, named Pac-Man.
Blinky is also a fictional character in a comic strip in the UK comic The Dandy, about a boy with large, thick glasses and the chaos he always causes, as what he sees through his glasses is a galaxy different to the rest of the world.
When Blinky first appeared in The Beezer and Topper in 1990, the design of the character seemed to be a younger version of an earlier Beezer comic strip called Colonel Blink.
