Encyclopedia > Blood Order

The Blood Order, or as it was officially known, the decoration (of the Munich putsch) of 9 November 1923, was one of the most prestigious decorations in the Nazi Party. Instituted in March 1934, the medal is solid silver, with the obverse bearing a depiction of an eagle with a wreath in its talons. The reverse bears the inscription (in German): AND YET YOU HAVE CONQUERED. This decoration was awarded to participants in the putsch who had joined the party or one of its fomations by January 1932 (continuous service). All medals were numbered and awarding was done very carefully. Unlike other medals, the ribbon was worn on the right breast of the uniform tunic in the form of a rosette. In May 1938, to the dismay of the putsch participants, the award was extended to persons who had (a) served time in prison for Nazi activities before 1933, (b) to receive a death sentence which was later commuted to life imprisonment for Nazi activities before 1933, and (c) to have been severely wounded in the service of the Party before 1933. It could also be bestowed on certain other individuals at the discretion of Adolf Hitler, the last recipient being Reinhard Heydrich (posthumous). If a holder of this medal left the party, the medal would have to be relinquished. Two women received this award (one putsch participant and one posthumous outstanding service). Given the number of original marchers in the putsch, the number of posthumous awards given under the 1938 extentions (436), and the awards for outstanding service under those same extentions, the total number of recipients numbered less than 6,000. The Beer Hall Putsch occurred in the evening of Thursday, November 8 to early afternoon of Friday, November 9, 1923 when the nascent Nazi partys Führer Adolf Hitler, the popular World War I General Erich Ludendorff, and other leaders of the Kampfbund, unsuccessfully tried to gain power in Munich... The Blood (1621 words)
The function of the blood is to serve as a bridge or an implement for the unfolding of the spirit on earth.
The radiation of the blood is what welds the soul together with the body and then through this union the spirit is able to use this tool which the physical body is for its own ends.
This is proof that the formation of the blood depends on something else which has not up till now been discovered which is the core or the essence which in the case of animals, is the animistic soul of the animal, while in the case of humans is the spirit.

I know who is in posession of the blood order number 3 medal. I am very interested in knowing who this medal was given to. I have heard it was presented to Himmler but can not find facts to this. It was found during construction in Northern Germany (Flensburg area behind the little red school house). Any information would be greatly appreciated.
