Derek Michael Armstead (July 31, 1975March 2, 1997), known primarily as Bloodshed and also Blood Debiasi, was an African American rapper, usually affiliated with fellow Harlemites Big L, Ma$e and Cam'Ron (who was his cousin). He was born on July 31, 1975 in Harlem, New York City, New York. For a short while he was in the rap group Children of the Corn until he died in a car accident on March 2, 1997 in Harlem at age 26. His voice was similar to his cousin Cam'Ron's but was more rough and raspy. Bloodshed also displayed more vocabulary and had better analysis with his lyrics and had better punchline ability than his cousin Cam'Ron. Bloodshed had one solo song which was called "Paint The Town Red" the chorus samples Kool G Rap and displays some of Bloodshed's amazing lyrical and punchline ability.
