Bloodsucking Fiends is the story of Jody, a young single woman living in San Francisco who is attacked by and turned into a vampire. While trying to adjust to her new nocturnal lifestyle, she employs the aid of C. Thomas Flood (or "Tommy" for short), a wannabe writer working nights at a local supermarket. As Jody and Tommy begin their life together (and begin growing closer), they also discover that a recent string of mysterious murders may be linked to the vampire who turned Jody. To get to the bottom of this, they end up turning to the help of Tommy's friends at work, and a mysterious street person who is suspected to be the Emperor Norton.
