Blue Hill is a town located in Hancock County, Maine. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 2,390. It is home to two high schools, the Liberty School and George Stevens Academy. It is also home to a yacht club and Kniesel Hall. While in recent years, Blue Hill has become economically stagnant, there are currently efforts to draw tourist business during summertime, such as steel band concerts and parades.
