Blue Mountain, is the prominent, most southeastern Appalachian ridge in the Ridge-and-Valley Province of Pennsylvania. It is the first mountain range located in Southern Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania Summit Station, Pennsylvania and seperates Berks County, Pennsylvania. This first mountain range goes south west Summit Station, Pennsylvania to north east. It is home to Hawk Mountain on the central part of the mountain, and Blue mountain ski area on the east. Blue Mountain, by far, is the best sking you'll find in eastern PA. Compared with Vermont or out west, that's not saying much, but this is PA folks.
Blue is cool with hard to easy slopes and all but one are groomed (mainstreet) and challenge is not impposible but still enough to keep you on your toes, highest vertical in PA and an awesome pie and park.
Blue Mountain ski area is 17 miles north of Allentown via Route 145.
