BluegrassReport.org is a Democratic Party-oriented blog covering Kentucky politics, particularly with regards to state government and the current Governor Ernie Fletcher. Beyond covering ongoing political issues and scandals (many of them associated with Governor Fletcher and his subordinates), in June 2006, the blog became the focus of a new scandal involving a state government clampdown on the access of particular genres of websites, including political blogs, where BluegrassReport.org (a heavy critic of Fletcher) and other blogs were blocked, while other blogs were still accessible, leaving a widely reported impression that the blocks were selective and perhaps political in nature.
