Encyclopedia > Blues Saraceno

Blues Saraceno is an American rock guitar virtuoso and music producer from Connecticut.


Saraceno was discovered by Guitar for the Practicing Musician magazine, which assisted him in releasing instrumental recordings on an inependent basis. He filled in as lead guitarist for Poison (band), in 1994, after guitarist Richie Kotzen was fired. Saraceno played guitars on the Poison album Crack a Smile.

You may remember Blues Saraceno as the Connecticut-bred guitar whiz kid who graced the cover of Guitar magazines and released his first solo album at age 16 and two more before his 23rd birthday.
Blues is producing and writing songs for the " FREDALBA" project for Piller Music of Startreck fame which features the singing voice of Eric Balfour, a regular on the HBO show " Six Feet Under".
As if this was not enough, Blues is also recording his own project, one that will feature not only his masterful guitar playing but his voice and keyboard ability along with his drum programming and his full on pro tools producing.
