Qin Bangxian or Bo Gu (秦邦宪或博古) (1907-April 8, 1946) was the General Secretary of the Communist Party of China from 1934-1935. He became a member of the Politburo Standing Committee in 1931. He became General Secretary of the party in January1934. He was dismissed from his position in 1935. In 1941, he found the Xinhua News Agency which replaced the Red China News Agency.
