Bob Borden is currently a writer for the Late Show with David Letterman. He began as a mailroom intern while attending Kent State University. Letterman soon began using him in various sketches, including "Dave Finds Bob a Date" and "Bob Borden Looks for Urkel." In the ten years since, Borden has held several positions, with the most recent being of Writer's Researcher, before he was promoted to Writer. The Late Show with David Letterman is an hour-long weeknight comedy talk show broadcast by CBS from the Ed Sullivan Theater on Broadway in New York City. ... Kent State University (also known as Kent State or KSU) is a major public research university located in Kent, Ohio, United States, which is about 40 miles southeast of Cleveland, 12 miles east of Akron, and 30 miles west of Youngstown. ... Up until late 2006, Borden wrote a daily blog on his website, bobborden.com. Before shutting it down upon receiving his promotion, it contained everything from music to pop culture to the shoes he wore that day and his "Friday Wardrobe Preview." A recurring bit ont eh blog was "Secrets" in which Borden would reveal a little known secret about himself. In one "Secrets" episode, it was revelaed that Borden once ate a steak that was cooked on a George Foreman Grill that had been licked by his cat. A typical George Foreman Grill. ...
