Robert "Bob" Daisley (born February 13, 1950) is from Sydney, Australia. He is a legendary hard rock bass guitar playing musician and lyricist who has performed in genres from Rock and Roll to the Blues. Daisley was bassist and lyricist for Ozzy Osbourne on his most successful solo releases of the 1980's. Before the Diary Of A Madman tour, Daisley was replaced by Rudy Sarzo. He returned to Ozzy's band for the 1983 Bark At The Moon record and tour. He wrote the material for all of Ozzy's albums up until and including No More Tears. Although he didn't do any of the recording for The Ultimate Sin, most of the material was written by Daisley and Ozzy's guitarist at the time Jake E. Lee. After a lawsuit brought by Daisley for unpaid royalties, his bass tracks were removed from later remasters of Blizzard of Ozz and Diary of a Madman albums in 2002. The tracks were re-recorded by Rob Trujillo of Suicidal Tendencies and Metallica fame.
