Capitalizing again on his budding fame, he published a book in late 2003, titled What a Difference a Year Makes: How Life's Unexpected Setbacks Can Lead to Unexpected Joy, sketching his adventures in the year between his appearance on The Bachelorette and his appearance on The Bachelor.
Personal life
Bob can be seen with his band "THE BOB GUINEY BAND", or working on various projects such as the host of ABC's comedic interstitial programming, the primary field correspondent for The View, co-host of WE's 3 Men and a Chick Flick, as well as co-hosting Bravo's Battle of the Network Stars, ABC Super Bowl coverage in his beloved hometown of Detroit, and countless specials for E! and TV Guide Channel. Bob is married to actress Rebecca Budig (Greenlee/All My Children), and recently celebrated their 3rd year anniversary. Currently living in LA, Bob is finishing up his 4th studio album and also performing with his Celebrity Charity Band "BAND FROM TV"(made up of some of your favorite celebs... Greg Grunberg(Heroes), James Denton (D. Housewives), Hugh Laurie(HOUSE) and Bonnie Somerville(Cashmere Mafia).
Nov. 10th and 11th(2007) Bob will be hosting the 12th Annual ABC Super Soap Weekend in Orlando, FLA at MGM Studios for the 3rd year. Along with Bob his band (BGB) will be performing at the ABC Daytime Street Jam, nightly.
